Jeffrey So
Jeff is a nationally certified Physician Assistant. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies at UCLA, and went on to pursue his passion in medicine at Western University of Health Sciences where he earned his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. Having had experience in general medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery, and other fields, dermatology stood out as an exciting field to take on.
Having had extensive training in dermatology, Jeff is proficient and well versed in the areas of general dermatology, minor surgical procedures, lasers, non-invasive skin tightening procedures, fillers, and neurotoxins.
Aside from helping patients, Jeff enjoys tennis, golf, scuba diving, trying new foods, and re-learning the clarinet.
Kathy Nguyen
Kathy Nguyen is a National board certified Surgical Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelors of Science in Physiological Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to attend the University of Southern California, School of Medicine and earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Practice, and completed her training at LAC-USC Medical Center. Kathy has extensive training in general and cosmetic dermatology and has worked in the field for over nine years. She also worked in plastic surgery for one year.
Her expertise includes but is not limited to skin cancer, skin checks, actinic keratoses, acne (including accutane), warts, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, and is skilled in performing biopsies and excisions. Her cosmetic experience includes Botox, Dysport, injectable fillers, sclerotherapy, and laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, blood vessels and pigmentation.
Katie
Originating from Cave Creek, Arizona, Katie is a nationally certified registered nurse holding licensure in Arizona, California, and Hawaii. Upon moving to Santa Monica, California Katie worked as an operating room nurse specializing in spinal, neuro and orthopedic surgery. She then found her true home at Moy-Fincher-Chipps specializing in laser hair removal, fotofacials, tattoo removal, injectable fillers, radio frequency tightening, neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport), sclerotherapy, and laser resurfacing.
Katie is also a member of the dermatologic nurses association. Katie attends meetings and conferences all over California for the latest techniques in aesthetic fillers and other injectables to maintain a broad based knowledge of minimally invasive facial rejuvenation.
Jordanna Burke
Jordanna Burke, R.N. obtained her Nursing degree from Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health where she completed her training at LAC-USC Medical Center. She has over 8 years of experience in General, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology. She is an active member of the Dermatology Nurse’s Association and gave a lecture regarding injectable techniques alongside the President of American Academy of Dermatology in 2010.
Jordanna is skilled in injecting Botox, Dysport, fillers, and sclerotherapy. She has expertise in laser hair removal, fotofacials, laser skin resurfacing, tattoo removal, and radio-frequency treatments for wrinkle reduction, anti-aging, acne, skin tightening, and circumference and cellulite reduction.
As a native of Maui, Hawaii, Jordanna understands the damaging results of the sun and strives to educate her patients on sun protection and skin cancer prevention.
