An 87-year-old gentleman presented with a translucent bump that intermittently scabbed on his mid-forehead (left photo, top). A skin biopsy showed basal cell carcinoma skin cancer, which was successfully removed using Mohs micrographic surgery in 2 stages (left photo, bottom). The surgical wound was repaired using facial plastic reconstructive surgery to hide scar lines in his natural forehead expression lines the same day as Mohs surgery. 6 weeks after the procedure, he has healed very well and has complete movement of his forehead (right photo).
