A 62-year-old gentleman presented with a crusted bump on his right forehead. After a dermatology consultation and skin biopsy performed at our Torrance office, he was diagnosed with an early basal cell carcinoma skin cancer (left photo, top). The cancer was completed removed using Mohs micrographic surgery in 1 stage (left photo, bottom), and the surgical wound closed using facial plastic reconstructive surgery. Just 3 weeks later, he has healed very well with almost no evidence of scarring (right photo).
