What is a Brow Lift?
At rest, a youthful brow is gradually arched with its lateral tail slightly raised above the medial eyebrow. As we age, the brow falls flat and appears less expressive and less alert. A brow lift helps reverse these effects of age and gravity. This technique tightens the skin and tissues of the forehead, restoring a more youthful forehead contour with elevated eyebrows and eyelids. Surgical incisions vary depending on the part of the brow that is targeted but are placed to be as inconspicuous as possible. Brow lift results can last for 10 years and often make patients look 10-15 years younger. These procedures are typically performed under local anesthesia for your safety. During your consultation, your doctor will determine if you are a good candidate and thoroughly review the procedure, pre-operative requirements, and post-operative expectations.
