The Samuel J. Stegman, MD Award for Distinguished Service, established in 1996, has long recognized individuals who have made remarkable contributions to both the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and the field of dermatologic surgery. Each year, this prestigious award honors those who have shown unwavering dedication, leadership, and service to the Society.
We are thrilled to announce that the ASDS Awards Work Group has selected Dr. Ronald Moy of Moy-Fincher-Chipps Facial Plastics & Dermatology, a Golden State Dermatology Affiliate, as the recipient of the 2024 Samuel J. Stegman, MD Award for Distinguished Service. Dr. Moy was chosen for his demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing dermatologic surgery and serving the Society, embodying the spirit of this distinguished accolade.
Dr. Moy was presented with the award during the ASDS Annual Gala, held on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 as part of the 2024 ASDS Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL.
